Asharqia Chamber's Board of Directors is inviting all of its members to attend the General Assembly scheduled for Tuesday evening, 6/2/2009 to review what has been achieved in the past year, hear a report from the Controller, and review the financial statements of the Chamber for the past fiscal year 2008.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Abdulrahman bin Rashed Al-Rashed, also invited all members to listen to the Chamber's plans for this year 2009.
During the meeting, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab Thought Foundation, Hamad Al- Ammaari, will address members on the role of the Foundation's mission and ways that it can cooperate with the businesses. Al-Ammaari will also discuss a report that highlights his responsibilities and achievements, and the institution's future projects.
During the meeting to be held in Sheikh Hamad Al-Qusaibi Hall, a number of former Chamber staff members will be honored including: Mohammad Omar Al-Abdul-Hadi, Abdul Latif Khalid Al-Bilali, Hussam-ud-Deen Nu'man Qabbani, Abdullah Mohammed Al-Yahya, Mohamed Taha Ahmadoon, Saad Muhammed Al-Mu'ammar, and Sultan Rashid Abu Ali.
